Getting the most from your YouTube channel
A lot of people ask me for advice on how to build up a successful YouTube channel. They probably expect a bunch of technical hacks but this is the best single bit of advice I can give you:
You need to make sure you have fun on your channel. Fun is contagious… think about how you feel when you watch your favourite channels. You probably feel in the same mood as the people you are watching. If they get mad, you get mad, if they get sad, you get sad. So, if you want your audience to have fun, you must have fun too.
The other benefit of this is that fun is fun. If you’re enjoying what you do, then it doesn’t even matter if anyone else does…
